About the Role

Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT Risk and Control team, you will be responsible for providing independent and objective assessments of our IT control environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Manager in analyzing IT Risk assessments and reviews
  • Be accountable and responsible for assigned tasks, including managing and reviewing IT controls for assigned entities
  • Provide direction on the application of testing methodology to Specialists and review work performed by them
  • Test and review sensitive and confidential controls
  • Review RU readiness before testing, as required
  • Support the Testing Team Manager in ad-hoc related tasks and projects
  • Complete deliverables in a timely manner as per assigned by the Testing Team Manager
  • Provide technical direction and advice to customers and the team
  • Be a point of contact for the IT framework
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a proactive and customer-oriented approach
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT/Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Information Security, IT controls testing, IT Audit/IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Italian B2 is a nice to have
  • Experience and knowledge of IT control testing or Audit is an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security standards and principles, preferably demonstrated by an entry certification such as Security +, SSCP, or CSX
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of information security standards and principles, preferably demonstrated by an advanced certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or CISM
