About the Role

Leica Biosystems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to drive the growth of our Digital Pathology business in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing our regional business strategy, building and delivering Digital Pathology projects that meet customer needs, and partnering with our Account Manager team to manage sales opportunities across the full funnel process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy, with a focus on market share capture and growth.
  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match customer needs and expectations.
  • Partner with the Account Manager team to manage sales opportunities in large and medium-sized competitive accounts.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.
  • Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.
  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share.
  • Support the tender response team on technical application processes.
Requirements
  • University degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, with knowledge of technologies, products, processes, and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel within the defined territory up to 60% of the time.
