Bruker’s Advanced X-ray Solutions (AXS) is seeking a Sales Representative for our North Spain region, which is comprised by Catalonia, Basque Country, Aragón, Cantabria, Rioja, Galicia and Castilla-Leon regions. Your product lines include X-ray Diffraction (XRD), X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), and Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction (SC-XRD), Micro & Nano CT (XRM), Optical Emissions Spectroscopy (OES) and Combustion Gas Analysers (CGA).

Sales responsibility and promotion of Bruker’s AXS business in the North of Spain in accordance with the company strategy. The primary objectives are to raise the profile of the company in Academic, Research Center's community and industry (Cement, Mining, Ceramics, Steel, etc.) as well, introduce the products in a competitive way, and ensure customer satisfaction during and post-sale.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the AXS business sales in the North of Spain as a sales representative:

- Channeling and controlling the activities for constant growth
- Responsibility for managing and driving the annual business plan for AXS sales in the North of Spain
- Executing own quota of AXS new order bookings for the North of Spain by:

- Finding new customers in academic and industrial settings using a variety of tools ranging from personal networking to internet searches
- Contributing to marketing activities such as composing advertisements and mailings
- Qualifying potential sales leads by discussion with and understanding of the customer’s needs
- Arranging and hosting customer demonstrations in Spain or in the European demo center (Karlsruhe)
- Generating quotations and managing public and private tender submissions
- Negotiating pricing in collaboration with the parent factory and management and closing deals with customers
- Arranging Exhibitions and Seminars at conferences in Spain
- Maintaining good relationship with existing customers and managing post-sale activities
- Holding regular meetings with local Bruker's lead finders.
- Market observation and analysis, as well as active reception of customer demands and interests, which may lead to an improvement of our solutions and offerings
- Reporting to the Sales Manager

Qualifications:

- BSc or equivalent in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or Analytical Science with some postgraduate experience, either in academic or industry
- “In-the-Market” - a strong and credible presence in front of key customers and at industry events
- Positive “can do” attitude, a highly motivated self-starter
- Resourceful, proactive, analytical, meticulous with probed negotiation skills.
- Goal oriented with good track record in achieving sales targets
- Competent PC skills, particularly with MS office software and CRM (SalesForce)
- Experience in sales of highly technical, complex BtoB sales, ideally scientific instruments. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience and good understanding in XRD, XRF, SC-XRD and/or materials testing instrumentation is preferred
- Double competencies in analytical technologies and sales are required
- Outgoing and likeable individual with a high degree of personal integrity
- Self-motivation is essential as is a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal
- Well organized and able to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment
- A high standard of verbal and written Spanish and English is a prerequisite, Catalonian language would be appreciated as well.
- Current valid driving license and availability to travel both domestically and internationally
- No visa disqualification from USA or EU
