Introduction

Being the face of Shimano, ensuring an excellent business relationship, advising our customers (key retail accounts) on market trends and offering them the opportunity to purchase not only Shimano Bike components, but also soft goods like shoes, jerseys, LAZER helmets etc..

Some of the exciting tasks of our Sales Representative position within Shimano Iberia.

Together with your colleagues you will take care of the sales opportunities in Spain, with your region being Catalonia. You will become responsible for some of our biggest key accounts

In this role you will join the Sales Representative team consisting of 14 direct colleagues and you will report to the Sales Manager.

For this position we are looking for a proactive self-starter who is driven by results and is always keeping the customer satisfaction in mind. Working in your region as if it is your own small business, you have the freedom and discipline to chase your targets and realize sales. You have good analytical skills as you will be analyzing market data and you are able to plan your time efficiently. Next to that you are flexible and adaptable because this job includes regular travel.

Last but not least, you are personable and passionate about Shimano products which allows you to solve customer issues and retain your commercial position.

The Challenge- Visit your customers across Catalonia to support with orders and product information maximizing customer satisfaction and sales.-
- Create visit reports to ensure continuity in service and records of market information.-
- Scope out new business within your region and reach out to new business opportunities.-
- Formulate strategic plans with the Sales Manager to maximize future sales and realize targets.-
- Improve the visibility of our products at the retailers shops.-
- Represent Shimano at trade shows and events.What are we looking for?- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in bicycle industry.-
- Experience with B2B sales.-
- Excellent communication skills, you can adapt different audiences and actively listen to their needs.-
- Good language skills in English, Spanish and Catalan.-
- Affinity with the bicycle industry and/or its products.What do we have to offer?
