Our client is an international grain trading company which meets the needs of the markets worldwide for missing commodities and raw materials with a long-term perspective of cooperation and creating a foundation of reliable partnerships for future generations.In order to improve competitiveness and achieve additional synergy and efficiency from international trading operations the company is opening new subsidiaries at different markets. Therefore the company is trying to attract an experienced and motivated professional for Business Development Director Spain position.Potential candidate will be responsible for developing business in Spain, in order to achieve the required sales volume of goods purchased in other markets and delivered to Spain as a destination market.The responsibility would include but will not be limited to:· Manage business in Spain to achieve maximum profitability. Develop and implement business strategy· Analyse all necessary market and commercial data in order to identify opportunities for developing the company's business in the market· Manage commercial contracts for the sale of goods in order to obtain the required volume of sales of supplied goods from other markets. Building long-term relationships with market participants in the country· Carryout and control the administrative functions necessary for the establishment and development of a business - registration of a company, creation of the necessary processes and procedures, determination of the organizational structure and motivation system, interaction with authorities· Manage logistics that will allow efficient receiving goods from other markets and distribute within the assigned market· Create the necessary team as the business grows. Further manage the team at the given territory. Ensure recruitment, management, motivation control and implementation of necessary trainings· Coordinate with other functions and countries to maintain business sustainability and profitability.· Perform business planning in Spain. Monitor the fulfillment of financial targets. Responsible for the profitability of the regionIdeal candidate should possess the following characteristics:· Proven experience in Trading Companies· Experience and knowledge of the Spanish commodity trading market· Competence in organizing the necessary product portfolio sale within the market· Expertise in sales of supplied goods on the Spanish market· Leadership experience in managing teams of 5-10 people· Understanding of the principles of the company's work on international markets· Strong entrepreneurial, analytical skills and pre-active approach· Strong leadership and people management skills· Results orientation, ability to identify the resources and actions necessary to achieve the set goals, and persist in plans implementation· Superior negotiations skillsCompany is ready to offer competitive package (base salary and annual commission-based bonus) to attract a qualified candidate.This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious professional to take part in building a strong international company.
