Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to drive our growth in the European market. As a Business Development Director for Real World Evidence, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business development plan, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions in the European market
- Identify and target potential clients within pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and research organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand brand presence and generate leads
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- In-depth knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) and its applications in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets
- Strong network of contacts within the European pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe to meet with clients and attend industry events
