**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for a** Director of Business Development** to join our** SMB Business Development team** in Madrid
You will play a pivotal role in driving our revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities and closing high-value partnerships. This responsibility will primarily involve catering to the SMB market, focusing on companies that have a workforce ranging from 100 to 500 employees.
**YOUR IMPACT**
- Ongoing hiring, mentoring, and development of BDRs (Business Development Representatives), which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members. You will be responsible for leading and developing Gympass's most promising talent pool for the coming years.
- Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member
- Motivate team members through creative incentives
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
- Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team
- Responsible for outbound campaigns strategy partnering with Growth Marketing
- Led a team of 6-10 BDRs, conducting continuous training and coaching to reach sales KPIs and goals.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversation of sales accepted opportunities, and playbook effectiveness
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with various levels of leadership within the sales structure of the organization (sales, pre-sales, account management, Growth Marketing, and events, among others).

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Successful track record as an Account Executive in the SaaS space
- Nice to have direct experience managing a team of BDR's
- Consistent track record of 100%+ quota achievement as an AE
- Proven track record scaling of large BDR teams
- Experienced in hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment
- High levels of self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- **Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory**:
- German proficiency is a plus
