THE JOURNEY

Implement and ensure compliance with labor regulations within the Company, in accordance with the guidelines from the Legal department.Be the main point of contact for HQ Legal team, People Partners, employees, and / or managers and external legal counsel.Draft operating rules, contract proposals, and counter-proposals for labor negotiations with employees, management leaders, and other collective bargaining parties.Interpret legal contracts and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) to ensure compliance with contract provisions, wage laws, and standard regulations.Lead meetings between Management and Labor. Meet with employees and company representatives to measure their needs.Provide guidance to the business and people partners in terms of disciplinary sanction policies.Provide technical assistance and guidance on labor inspection topics.Address work grievances. Work to resolve conflicts and communication difficulties. Handle collective bargaining and negotiate to prevent legal action and address worker complaints.Advise the People department on any doubts or problems that arise in people matters, after analyzing the tools at your disposal (regulations, agreement, disciplinary regime, etc.) and prepare the reports that are necessary, propose alternatives that respond to the needs and, where appropriate, execute the chosen solution.Implement training for Staff, and identify specific training and development needs to improve performance and operation.Responsible for the correct implementation of hiring, disciplinary procedures, dismissals and compensation.Maintaining the site disciplinary and grievance process, assisting in investigations, recommendations and corrective actions.Ensures compliance with the Risk Prevention Management System in the centers.Establishes relations with union delegates and works committees.Translating business strategy into People strategy with the Operations Manager and other site leaders.Manage the day-to-day aspects of the Workplaces and will develop continuous improvements to programmes, measures and controls in accordance with regulatory changes and industry requirements.Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a differenceWHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDEBachelor's degree or higher in HR, and/or Labor Law and/or Labor Relations.Knowledge of labor regulations and legislation, payment and control of payroll and labor relations.Experience of at least 5 years in a similar position or function is essential.Experience in representation of Company Committees and negotiation of collective agreements.Experience in managing labor relations in companies with different groups and areas of application.A 'business first' attitude.Excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels.Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.Ability to adapt, execute 360o and coordinate with the team.Fluency in Spanish, perfect verbal and written communication.Fluency in English.Positive attitude, focusing on solutions.An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude We are always looking for the best candidates, so if you think you would be a good fit even if you don't meet 100% of the requirements we would love to hear from you EXPERIENCE OUR GLOVO LIFE BENEFITS:Enticing equity plan (if applicable)Top-notch private health insuranceMonthly Glovo credit to spend on our restaurant products and zero delivery fee on all Glovo ordersDiscounted gym membershipsFlexible time off (take the time you need) and hybrid working model (own your time)Enhanced parental leave including nursery supportOnline therapy and wellbeing benefitExternal learning budgetWHAT YOU'LL FIND WHEN WORKING AT GLOVO:Gas: Driven to deliver quality results quicklyGood Vibes: Bring positivity and communicate openlyStay Humble: Self-aware and open to learningCare: Uplift people and the planetGlownership: Act as proud ownersHigh Bar: Focus on Top Performance If you believe you match these values, we look forward to meeting you Wanna take a peek into what it's like to work at Glovo?
