We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Labour Relations and HR Administration to join our team at Ferrer. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of labour laws and relations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Labour Relations Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and employee representatives.
- Payroll Management: Manage the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, complying with internal policies and government regulations.
- HR Data Management: Responsible for the HR data management and analytics to ensure robust data sources and provide insights to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
- Team Leadership: Lead the team and ensure constant development and upskilling of key team functions.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation when necessary, always maintaining a focus on conciliation and mutual understanding.
- Advice and Guidance: Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on matters related to labour relations, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations, with an HR Master's or Postgraduate degree being valuable.
- Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment, with international experience being desirable.
- Proven experience in leading teams.
- Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
- Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Strategic thinking and global view.
