About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Labour Relations and HR Administration to join our team at Ferrer. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of labour laws and relations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Labour Relations Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and employee representatives.
  2. Payroll Management: Manage the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, complying with internal policies and government regulations.
  3. HR Data Management: Responsible for the HR data management and analytics to ensure robust data sources and provide insights to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead the team and ensure constant development and upskilling of key team functions.
  5. Conflict Resolution: Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation when necessary, always maintaining a focus on conciliation and mutual understanding.
  6. Advice and Guidance: Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on matters related to labour relations, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations, with an HR Master's or Postgraduate degree being valuable.
  2. Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment, with international experience being desirable.
  3. Proven experience in leading teams.
  4. Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
  5. Fluent communication skills in English.
  6. Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
  7. Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high emotional intelligence.
  8. Strategic thinking and global view.
