Job Title: Head of Labour Relations and HR Administration

Ferrer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Labour Relations and HR Administration team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all matters related to labour relations and payroll, as well as HR administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, complying with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Implement and improve robust internal processes and controls to minimize risks and ensure the integrity of payroll data.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and Employee Representatives (RLT).
  • Maintain a close relationship with Unions or worker organisations to negotiate fair and beneficial labour agreements, collective contracts, and labour clauses.
  • Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation, focusing on conciliation and mutual understanding.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on labour relations matters, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and other employee complaints.
  • Work closely with the human resources team at production centers.
  • Responsible for HR data management and analytics to ensure robust data sources and provide insights to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations.
  • HR Master's or Postgraduate degree valuable.
  • Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment.
  • International experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
  • Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, and organizational skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Strategic thinking and global view.
