Job Summary

Ferrer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Labour Relations and HR Operations. This position will be responsible for managing and supervising all matters related to labour relations and payroll, as well as HR administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, complying with internal policies and government regulations, and closely collaborating with the external payroll provider.
  • Implement and improve robust internal processes and controls to minimize risks and ensure the integrity of payroll data, thereby consolidating trust in internal processes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and employee representatives.
  • Maintain a close relationship with unions or worker organizations to negotiate fair and beneficial labour agreements, collective contracts, and labour clauses for both employees and the company.
  • Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation when necessary, always maintaining a focus on conciliation and mutual understanding.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on matters related to labour relations, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and other employee complaints.
  • Work closely with the human resources team at production centers.
  • Responsible for HR Data Management and Analytics to ensure robust data sources and provide insights to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
  • Lead the team and ensure constant development and upskilling of key team functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations.
  • HR Master's or Postgraduate degree is valuable.
