About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People Operations to join our team at Glovo. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and owning the People strategic agenda for our Headquarter Technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner strategically with senior leaders to translate strategic objectives into project delivery
  • Guide the team to build strategic initiatives through data-driven insights and analysis
  • Lead growth projects and reorganizations to meet business needs
  • Own strategic workforce planning activities
  • Coach and support business leaders in the application of HR policies and practices
  • Partner with leadership to identify business needs and partner with the People Acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment
  • Develop and implement a learning and development process to ensure a continuous learning environment
  • Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, engagement, and retention

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or related fields
  • Previous experience as a Head of People or Sr HRBP roles
  • Amazing analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • Business-first attitude
  • Experience navigating complex scenarios and acting as an advisor for senior leadership stakeholders
  • Experience in highly demanding environments and in a similar role for more than 7 years
  • Experience in startups will be highly valued
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels
  • Fluency in English, perfect verbal and written communication - Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge in Spanish employment and labor law is a strong plus
