About the Role

Ferrer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Labour Relations and HR Admin. This is a key role that will be responsible for managing and supervising all matters related to labour relations and payroll, and HR administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process, complying with internal policies and government regulations, closely collaborating with the external payroll provider.
  • Implement and improve robust internal processes and controls to minimize risks and ensure the integrity of payroll data.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and the Employee Representatives (RLT).
  • Maintain a close relationship with the Unions or worker organisations to negotiate fair and beneficial labour agreements, collective contracts and labour clauses, for both employees and the company.
  • Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation when necessary, maintaining a focus on conciliation and mutual understanding.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on matters related to labour relations, including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and other employee complaints.
  • Work closely with the human resources team at production centers.
  • Responsible for the HR Data Management and Analytics to ensure robust data sources and providing insights to identify trends, patterns and anomalies to support strategic planning and data-driven decisions.
  • Lead the team and ensure constant development and upskilling of key team functions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations.
  • HR Master's or Postgraduate degree valuable.
  • Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment. International experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
  • Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal and organizational skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Strategic thinking and global view.
