As the first dedicated salesperson in the B2b Ingredients space this is a pioneering role to act as catalyst in building Sustainable & Profitable growth for the Ingredients business unit.


This will have a profound impact on transforming and valorizing our manufacturing by products into revenue streams and profitable business.

A key part of our Renew Danone Strategy to 'seed the future'

The role requires energy, strong communication skills, high resilience and conviction, and a disruptive mindset.

The B2b Ingredients team will change how Danone approaches the market, and work with a broad range of customers for our by-products.

It will also help to make smart choices around further product investments.

Impact on Business Results


Danone are building a new B2b Ingredients business: This unit has already created sales revenue and is now building its capability and product portfolio.

This is a unique opportunity to build a start-up within our wider business. The mission simply is to grow sustainable sales to €500m and beyond.

About you

Experience

  • Market and Technical Knowledge & experience of FMCG & Dairy and Dairy Ingredients category
  • Engineering / Chemical Degree background
  • International mindset, able to work across cultures
  • Sales Experience on technical ingredients & proven business development
  • Languages: English (fluent); French or other.

Personal Competencies:

  • Demonstrate a track record in Business Development, new account wins and sales growth
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills.
  • Very good at dealing with ambiguity
  • Customer focus and action oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills, conflict management, influencing skills

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Experience in FMCG and managing Dairy category; Direct experience in milk and High Added Value Dairy Ingredients is a plus
  • Understanding of the competitor landscape, can identify our USPs and build sales case around them
