As an Senior Key Account Manager (H/M/X), you will be responsible for managing various aspects of customer accounts, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand global customer contracts and account plans, ensuring alignment with local contracts and plans.

Collaborate with the Commercial Director and Unit General Manager to address local issues effectively.

Build and maintain strong relationships and communication with customers, both internal and external.

Coordinate customer visits to ensure excellent customer care is displayed.

Provide operational support for the daily tasks of assigned accounts.

Monitor operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts.

Proactively propose continuous improvement initiatives for operational and financial performance.

Follow up on customers' feedback, including comments, compliments, and complaints, and take preventive measures to address any issues.

Implement operational and safety procedures to ensure compliance.

Coordinate any operational irregularities such as cancellations and delays with relevant departments and customers.

Coordinate meal presentations, ensuring compliance with specifications and budget requirements.

Conduct internal audits and inventories of customer's equipment.

Support invoice processing by reviewing information such as sales orders, specifications, or loading ratio changes, ensuring accurate billing.


Responsible for inputting and updating all relevant and correct data into ERP system, e.g., customer profile, catering service, sales order, special meal table, etc.

Monitor financial KPIs and sales reports of assigned accounts to identify deviations and implement corrective measures.

Optimize assigned accounts profitability, delivering or exceeding budgeted CM1.

Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Support any tender process by ensuring timelines are met and all information is provided to the respective departments.

Responsible for accurate costing and pricing according to criteria provided by Management. Analysis of P & L

Education:

Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related fields.


Experience and working knowledge of the railways or airline catering industry, hotel/catering, or other related multimodal passenger transport services industry.

Customer Experience.

Knowledge of menu development, food quality, and hygiene.

Computer-literate, good working knowledge of MS Office i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Valuable knowledge of SAP and/or SACS or other ERPs.

Good pricing and costing experience.

Good level of numeracy.

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, operational, and financial account management.

Technical Skills:
(Certification, Licenses, and Registration)

Excel

PowerPoint

SAP/SACS (valuable)

Language / Communication Skills:

Excellent communicator with strong proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum B2 according to EU norms).

Other languages are an advantage.

Others:

Driving license and own vehicle.
