About the Role: Our client, a leading logistics and trucking company, is seeking a driven Sales Representative to join their team in Cannock, Staffordshire. This exciting opportunity involves working remotely with regular office attendance to drive new business growth and expand the company's presence in the industry.
Job Summary: As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for engaging in cold outreach, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth within the logistics and aggregate sector. Your key responsibilities will include generating new sales opportunities, developing strong relationships with current and potential clients, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate new sales opportunities
- Develop strong relationships with current and potential clients, fostering trust and loyalty
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their business requirements
- Handle objections effectively and negotiate terms to close deals
- Prepare and submit sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, aiming to secure upfront OTE of up to £2,500 per contract
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within logistics, aggregates, or a related industry. You should also possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of client needs. Additionally, you should be highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
Benefits: This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, with an uncapped and upfront commission each month for deals closed. You will also receive equipment provided for remote work and 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Furthermore, our client offers opportunities for professional growth within the logistics and aggregate industry.
Estimated Salary: £32,750 per annum based on performance targets and location. The actual salary may vary depending on individual performance and market conditions.
