Role Overview

As a Demand Generation Representative focusing on Southeast Asia (ASEAN) markets, you will play a key role in promoting the growth and shaping the future of emerging technologies in this region. You will be the frontline for our customers in their new/early stage of cloud adoption, connecting their key stakeholders to AWS and helping them start their transformational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new customer contacts, earn trust, and engage with customers mainly through calls
• Qualify and create a sales funnel of opportunities and track in CRM (Salesforce)
• Educate customers on AWS products/services & evangelize key wins
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Reps, Solution Architects, Industry BDs, and Specialists
• Collaborate with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
• Evangelize customer success stories

Requirements

• Ability to profile customers from various internal/external sources to attain key business contacts
• Ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions to qualify opportunities
• Ability to think logically and structure answers, and ability to deal with ambiguity
• Openness and ability to learn sales automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
• Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of technology related sales, business development in sales/marketing environment
• Demonstrated experience in navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities
• Proven track record of prospecting accounts at scale while exceeding customer expectations
• Professional fluency in Vietnamese is highly preferred
• Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services preferred
• Understanding of AWS offerings and/or cloud technology (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
• Ability to build and execute sales programs for rapid scaling
• Knowledge of sales automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
