Job Summary

The Head of Labour Relations and HR Administration will be responsible for managing and supervising all matters related to labour relations and payroll, and HR administrative processes. This includes negotiating with workers' committees, conflict resolution, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of working conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll team to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll process.
  • Implement and improve robust internal processes and controls to minimize risks and ensure the integrity of payroll data.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive labour relations strategy that promotes collaboration and effective communication between management, employees, and Employee Representatives.
  • Maintain a close relationship with unions or worker organisations to negotiate fair and beneficial labour agreements.
  • Facilitate the effective resolution of labour disputes through negotiation and mediation.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and line managers on labour relations matters.
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of issues related to workplace harassment and employee complaints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law or Labour Relations.
  • HR Master's or Postgraduate degree valuable.
  • Solid work experience of at least 10 years in labour relations management in an industrial environment.
  • International experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in leading teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of current labour laws and labour relations practices.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Good negotiation skills and conflict resolution ability.
  • Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal and organizational skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Strategic thinking and global view.
