Job Overview:
- Drive regional growth strategy to deliver profitable and sustainable business growth as a Senior Business Director EMEAI.
- Develop growth pipelines by taking a customer-centric approach and working closely with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Owning profit & loss for the region Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI).
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue, optimize spend, and ensure continued profitable growth of the EMEAI Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) business.
- Identify, scope, and manage multiple strategic projects relative to Sales and New Business Development (NBD).
- Own the EMEAI business pipeline and align Sales and NBD to match or overcome Lubrizol's strategic plan targets.
- Develop and maintain a view of market dynamics in the industry, including ongoing evaluation of opportunities to create new value.
- Influence and gain acceptance of leaders internal and external to Lubrizol through effective communication, relevant and insightful analyses, and creative thinking.
- Lead, manage, and coach the EMEAI Sales and NBD organization.
- Facilitate business problem solving through establishing strategic context and developing structured hypotheses.
- Develop economic models to evaluate new business initiatives or understand market size, growth, and evolution.
- Establish strong relationships with industry experts and customers.
- Serve as part of the Engineered Polymers Leadership team, providing input on strategic business issues.
Requirements:
- Graduated in Polymer Technology, Material Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or adjacent field (preferred).
- 8+ years of business leadership experience in a global organization.
- 3+ years in a role with direct responsibility for business profitability.
- 3+ years of experience effectively leading a team.
- Knowledge or experience in the plastics industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision making.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
