About the Role

The Territory Sales Manager for Dental Implants will be responsible for driving sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory/group of customers. This role will focus on promoting, selling, and securing orders from existing and prospective customers for the Straumann Dental Implant portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve maximum sales growth and account penetration within the assigned territory/group of customers.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers at target accounts, identifying their needs, business issues, and aspirations.
  3. Conduct individual needs analysis as part of sales conversations to understand customer requirements and preferences.
  4. Represent Straumann Group products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of the prospective accounts' needs and objectives.
  5. Overcome objections and effectively communicate Straumann Group's offering and value propositions to key decision makers.
  6. Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential opportunities.
  7. Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
  8. Contribute to the success of the organization through generating leads and opportunities for the broader Straumann Group team.
  9. Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to existing client base.

Requirements

  1. Dental sector experience and technical product knowledge is a strong advantage.
  2. Sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets, with a proven ability to quote and close is essential.
  3. Self-starter, highly driven, and well-organized with excellent administration skills.
  4. Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to understand measurement tools to track progress and results.
  5. Ability to understand the sales process and pipeline, and be able to research prospects, connect, educate, and offer solutions to qualify a prospect.
  6. Thrives on building internal and external relationships, and upholds and reflects the brand reputation with an ethical approach to sales.
  7. Team player and a strong desire to learn and succeed, with a proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
