Job Description

Position: Business Development Director - Global Supply Chain Expert

Arrow Electronics is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to lead our Global Supply Chain Services division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact for targeted critical, large, multi-location, complex, and high visibility Arrow customers
  • Discover and execute on opportunities for sales of Arrow's Global Supply Chain Solutions to large enterprise accounts
  • Establish a funnel of opportunities and articulate the status of opportunities
  • Have a thorough understanding of the customer's needs, design and production partners, and decision-making hierarchy
  • Lead a strategic account planning process to develop and manage mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
  • Grow profit and maximize margins by selling value-added, long-term solutions
  • Direct cross-functional Arrow personnel to meet account objectives and customer expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, finance, marketing, or equivalents
  • 10-12 years of success B2B solution selling to the largest European Tier 1 and OEM Strategic Accounts
  • Proven ability to build network with energy and professionalism
  • Thorough knowledge of key account selling, electronic components distribution, and global supply chain industries
  • Strong existing relationships deep and wide inside the industry
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships and identify key decision makers
  • Expert consultative sales skills and the ability to convert leads into opportunities

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and revenue. You will act as a single point of contact for targeted critical, large, multi-location, complex, and high visibility Arrow customers. You will discover and execute on opportunities for sales of Arrow's Global Supply Chain Solutions to large enterprise accounts.
