About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven sales professional to join Confluent, a leading company in the field of cloud technology. As a Cloud Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in acquiring new Confluent Cloud customers and driving revenue growth.

You will be responsible for prospecting, identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing net new logos, as well as growing consumption in PAYG and Commit accounts. To succeed in this role, you will need to be hardworking, energetic, and motivated by driving new business and solving problems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively prospect and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  2. Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, discovery, and qualification.
  3. Collaborate with internal partners to drive success and achieve sales targets.
  4. Nurture existing PAYGs to drive incremental consumption and/or sign a commit.
  5. Participate in sales enablement training to stay up-to-date on Confluent's products and services.

About You:

  • 1+ years of Outbound SDR Experience, with a track record of overachievement and KPI attainment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value of complex cloud technologies, especially with technical customers.
  • Skilled in new business prospecting, pipeline generation, discovery, and qualification.
