Customer Portfolio Specialist for Maersk Spain

Maersk is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Portfolio Specialist to join our sales team in Spain. Based in Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia, this exciting opportunity will challenge you to manage customer relationships and achieve results.
About the RoleWe are seeking an action-oriented individual with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. As a Customer Portfolio Specialist, you will be responsible for mapping customer needs and proposing end-to-end services that meet their requirements. This involves developing customer value propositions, managing assigned customers and budget, and striving for consultative sales to distinguish market presence.
Key Responsibilities:- Map customer needs and propose end-to-end services that meet customer requirements
- Develop customer value propositions for all appropriate business opportunities
- Pursue and secure business in line with corporate and regional objectives
- Manage assigned customers and budget
- Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence
You will also have the opportunity to research and understand the territory, identify and establish business contacts with potential customers, and analyze competitive and industry trends.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic but highly structured environment. You should have strong competencies in English and proficiency in enterprise systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, etc.), Microsoft Office package, CRM, SCM tools, and Tableau.
Requirements- Previous experience as an Area Sales rep or Business Development Manager
- Good understanding of Spanish customer needs
- Able to map customer needs and propose end-to-end cold chain services that meet customer requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic but highly structured environment
- Strong competencies in English
With a salary range of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on location and experience, we offer a dynamic commercial position in an international setup with good employment terms and benefits.
