About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team in Iberia. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts, selling Kerry's technologies and products into the designated account portfolio. Your primary objective will be to create sustainable profitability for Kerry through developing and executing a strategic plan based on a deep understanding of the customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve current levels of profitability of products sold into existing customers.
- Identify new or growth opportunities into the customer, managed through regular reporting processes.
- Prospect and close new business opportunities through custom product and integrated solution selling to deliver profitable growth.
- Identify a portfolio of quality growth projects.
- Proactively defend current business.
- Develop strong strategic relationships within customers' organizations, including R&D, Marketing, and Procurement, and foster counterpart relationships within Kerry.
- Comply with all relevant Kerry systems and processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5-10+ years' experience in sales/account management, with technical capability contributing to winning new business.
- Experience in business development or selling in the meat or savoury industry.
- Good working knowledge of food science and its commercialization.
- Strong negotiating ability with clients to achieve successful outcomes for Kerry.
- Team player ready to partner with multiple functions internally to deliver on common goals.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this role.
- Willingness to travel up to 60%.
