About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising and Grants Manager to join our team at First Hunting, S.L.U. as a key member of our social impact area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet our financial goals, including creating a fundraising calendar and identifying potential funding sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans and strategies to meet organizational financial goals
  • Manage relationships with key funders, including cultivating relationships with significant actors in the donor space and overseeing outreach and communication
  • Write and submit grant proposals and funding applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and funder requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising performance, analyzing results and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including area managers, communications team, and senior leadership, to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities
Requirements
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and grant management, including securing major gifts, grants, and sponsorships
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the tech sector and its potential for social impact
  • Knowledge of the US and European public administrations, philanthropic organizations, and other sources of grants, calls, challenges, and tenders
  • Excellent writing, communication, and networking skills
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in remote and cloud-based environments
  • Proficiency in other European languages (Catalan, French, German, Dutch, etc.)
