We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Associate to join our team at the CyberPeace Institute. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in supporting our fundraising efforts and helping us achieve our mission to protect the most vulnerable in cyberspace.
Key Responsibilities- Donor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current donors, identifying new opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Fundraising Strategy: Research and track potential funding sources to support the operationalization of our fundraising strategy, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.
- Grant Writing: Develop compelling grant proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Stewardship: Manage identified fundraising workstreams and prospects, from identification to stewardship, ensuring timely and effective communication with donors.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce regular reporting and analysis to inform fundraising strategies and ensure effective use of resources.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international relations, or non-profit management.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a related field, preferably in a non-profit or international organization.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language: Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
