Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Fundraising Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies for the social impact sector, including a detailed fundraising calendar. This entails identifying potential funding sources and diversifying the fundraising portfolio.
  • Relationship Management: Nurture relationships with key funding partners, ensuring a robust network within the donor community. You will oversee outreach efforts, strengthen existing partnerships, and engage new contacts.
  • Grant Writing and Proposal Creation: Prepare grant proposals and funding applications that align with the organization's objectives and funder expectations. Identify suitable grant opportunities and collaborate to create budgets and narratives that effectively communicate the company's unique value.
  • Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and report on fundraising metrics, analyze outcomes, and assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies. Identify areas for enhancement, implement corrective actions, and adjust fundraising plans based on performance insights and feedback.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with area managers, the communications team, and senior leadership to ensure fundraising efforts align with organizational priorities. Guide fundraising strategies and ensure effective coordination between fundraising activities and program execution. Monitor and report on current grants and funding requirements.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Proven track record in fundraising and grant management, including securing significant gifts, grants, and sponsorships, along with the ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the technology sector and its potential for social impact.
  • Strong knowledge of US and European public administrations, philanthropic organizations, and various sources of grants, calls, challenges, and tenders, as well as the business and industry landscape.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and networking abilities.
  • Financial expertise and experience in budget management.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in remote and cloud-based work environments.
  • Ability to communicate in additional European languages (e.g., Catalan, French, German, Dutch).
  • A keen interest in privacy issues, particularly in relation to data laws and the significance of data protection.
