Global Produce Sales Director

A Commercial Sales Manager is required to drive sustainable growth and increase demand for Apeel's products with retail customers. This role involves building relationships with key customers, retailers, suppliers, and quality controllers to achieve sales targets and expand product categories.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of consumer needs and the retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset, understand marketing and sales principles, and be able to collaborate with internal teams to refine and commercialize products.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive sales support and product marketing collaboration as the subject matter expert on multiple categories for Apeel.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine and commercialize different products, market fit, determine competitive pricing and promotional activities, and corresponding treatment processes.
- Deliver against quotas, ensuring company goals and objectives are met.
- Assume responsibility for budget development and revenue for the category and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual global sales revenue forecasting.
The Commercial Sales Manager will report to the Vice President, Commercial EMEA, and be based in Southern Spain. Up to 30% travel to customer sites and retail locations domestically and internationally is required.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Deep category experience in produce, grocery, retail, or related industry.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
