Job Title: Global Sales Director Europe

About the Role:
To develop new and existing business in European markets, achieving set goals and targets under the guidance of the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the MICE sales effort within European markets, collaborating with other team members to create action plans and track results.
2. Set client listings, revenue targets, and action plans for The Palace Hotel, Madrid, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.
3. Conduct regular review sessions with the ADOS and Group Sales Team to discuss activities and results, contributing to informed decision-making.
4. Overachieve all goals and targets set with the DOSM, driving business growth and success.
5. Prepare a monthly report detailing activities and financial results, meeting company standards and expectations.
6. Collaborate with Marriott Global Sales Offices (GSO) to promote a positive message to clients, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
7. Visit key clients/markets as part of sales trips, building trust and loyalty with existing and potential customers.
8. Present additional reports/feedback on areas/markets of responsibility upon request, demonstrating expertise and commitment.
9. Plan and conduct site inspections/familiarization trips at hotels, adhering to Marriott International guidelines and best practices.
10. Liaise with key travel partners to encourage business into the hotels, cultivating mutually beneficial relationships.
11. Develop and deliver presentations on behalf of the hotel/company, showcasing its value proposition and unique selling points.
12. Entertain clients according to company guidelines and procedures, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
13. Exchange leads and industry information with GSOs and other hotels, staying up-to-date with market trends and developments.
14. Actively promote the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, achieving set targets and driving member engagement.
15. Participate in regular Sales meetings, compiling requested information and conducting presentations as needed.
16. Travel extensively throughout Europe, with a minimum of 12 weeks of travel per year, representing the hotel and promoting its interests.
17. Input and record all activities and client listings into the Sales Management System (Opera), maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
18. Familiarize yourself with all systems, procedures, and computer equipment used by Archer Hotel Management, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
