Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our Amazon team in West Africa. As a key member of our Public Sector team, you will be responsible for driving executive and field relationships with leading partners to increase adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the region.

About the Role

As a Cloud Partnership Executive, you will establish and grow business and technical relationships with our partners, managing day-to-day interactions to drive overall end customer adoption in the Public Sector segments. You will possess a strong business background to engage with CXO-level executives and a customer-facing background to interact with public sector customers and AWS team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive executive and field relationships with leading partners to increase AWS adoption in West Africa.
  • Establish and grow business and technical relationships with partners, managing day-to-day interactions to drive overall end customer adoption.
  • Engage with CXO-level executives and public sector customers to promote AWS solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase partner engagement and adoption of AWS services.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in partner management or business development in the software/technology industry.
  • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  • Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) and ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Understanding of AWS, cloud architecture, and infrastructure.
  • 10 years of relevant work experience in public/commercial enterprise roles/sales management in the IT industry in West Africa.
