Key Corporate Account Development Professional

Ebury is a leading fintech firm renowned for its innovative solutions in international trade and finance. With a presence in over 25 countries, we offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.
We are seeking an experienced Key Corporate Account Development Professional to join our team in Barcelona. As a key player in our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients across various industries. Your expertise in sales, negotiation, and client relationship management will enable you to identify business opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet our clients' needs.
Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth through new business development and upselling existing services. You will work closely with our sales teams to originate new business opportunities, leveraging your industry knowledge and technical expertise to deliver exceptional client experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing a portfolio of corporate clients across multiple product lines, including FX hedging, lending, and cash management
- Executing FX trades with multiple liquidity providers using various trading platforms and Bloomberg/Reuters
- Collaborating with sales teams to assist in business origination and driving revenue growth
- Understanding clients' business environments, strategies, and industries to provide the best solution for their situation
- Delivering on dealer-specific KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, upselling high-margin products, and increasing wallet-share
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular meetings and providing feedback to technology and product managers
- Originating new business through networking with existing clients for business referrals
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong financial services sales experience, preferably in a commercial bank or a fintech company
- A network of contacts in the industry would be advantageous
- Relevant experience in an environment different from a bank, such as an FX specialist or cash management company
- Knowledge of compliance requirements
- A business or finance academic background would be beneficial
