We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort of extraordinary experiences.

As a key member of our pastry team, you will support our all-day dining business, offering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and other dining experiences.

Under the guidance of the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing creative and innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry team and ensuring smooth operation of the pastry kitchen.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel/restaurant.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Passion for pastry and a willingness to continue learning and growing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
