Job Title: Pastry Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our pastry kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting our Executive Pastry Chef in delivering exceptional pastry experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in leading the pastry kitchen team and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new pastry menus and recipes.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and passion for pastry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
