Pastry Sous Chef Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our all-day dining business, offering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and other dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in leading the Pastry kitchen team
  • Ensure the highest quality and presentation of pastries and desserts
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus
  • Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized Pastry kitchen
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in an upscale hotel or restaurant
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and passion for pastry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
