Job Title: Pastry Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Pastry Chef in the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen team and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats for our guests.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and ensure seamless execution of existing dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Passion for pastry and a willingness to continuously learn and improve skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and a can-do approach.
