Pastry Sous Chef Job Description

SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort, is seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join its pre-opening team. As a key member of the pastry kitchen, you will support the Executive Pastry Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen and team.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of creative and innovative pastry products.
  • Ensure high standards of food hygiene and quality control.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver smooth service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of new pastry creations and menus.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in an upscale hotel or restaurant.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and passion for pastry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
