Pastry Sous Chef Opportunity at SLS Barcelona

SLS Barcelona, a luxurious urban resort, is seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join its pre-opening team. As a key member of the culinary team, you will support the Executive Pastry Chef in delivering exceptional pastry experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen and team.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative and creative pastry products.
  • Ensure high-quality standards and attention to detail in all aspects of pastry operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in an upscale hotel or restaurant.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for pastry and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
