Job DescriptionThe Demand Generation Director will be responsible for defining and implementing a global demand strategy for GelatoConnect, focusing on acquisition, up-sell, cross-sell, and retention programs for our tiered Strategic Account list. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and involves planning, managing, executing, and measuring demand generation campaigns across digital channels.
The successful candidate will partner closely with marketing and sales leaders to deliver online and offline programs that drive pipeline growth and help achieve quarterly sales targets. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a demand generation strategy across multiple departments, including outbound sales, performance marketing, customer success, events, partnerships, public relations, and content creation.
- Owning program management and execution of demand generation campaigns, including vendor relationships, agency collaborations, campaign setup, reporting, and predictive insights.
- Managing a centralized intake process for demand generation campaign requests, vetting, production, and execution.
- Collaborating with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure a best-in-class go-to-market strategy.
- Fostering frequent communication with Global Sales on campaign planning, calendar management, pre-launch sales enablement, and results reporting.
- Sourcing new sales pipeline, engaging contacts in new functions or roles at existing accounts, and accelerating existing sales pipeline.
- Supporting first-party events, executive roundtables, industry events, partner events, and other promotional efforts.
- Establishing a measurement framework and developing a reporting dashboard to track key metrics, such as reach, engagement, meetings booked, marketing-sourced pipeline, marketing-influenced pipeline, MQLs generated, and campaign return on investment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience planning and executing global demand generation programs.
- Experience managing agencies and executing performance marketing across digital channels.
- Demonstrable success in demand generation program execution, with referenceable examples of proven achievements.
- A data-driven mindset, with comfort working with marketing automation and CRM tools.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and pipeline influence targets, understanding regional sales needs, sales success metrics, and stop-gap strategies for reaching quarterly targets.
- Experience with campaign localization.
- Comfort working with stakeholders across the C-suite, marketing, sales, and customer success.
- Deep expertise in full-funnel campaign tactics, performance marketing, the demand waterfall, buyer motivations, buyer personas, and demand generation campaign execution from start to finish.
- A keen eye for translating business objectives into relevant campaign messaging by industry, buyer persona, and company size.
- Excellent project management and time management skills.
Gelato offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
