Job Title: Sales Manager Commercial & Compact UPS Spain & Portugal

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at AEG Power Solutions. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with new customers, driving sales activities with existing and new customers, and investigating the market of our commercial and compact UPS product range in Spain and Portugal.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify new partners and distributors for our AEG PS standard UPS range in the territory
  • Establish, develop, and maintain productive relationships with new customers
  • Achieve sales targets for this product range in the territory
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities on the American market
  • Establish AEG PS permanent market presence in the Data & IT sector, working closely with IT wholesalers and system integrators
  • Identify and establish new sales channels for commercial & compact UPSs in the building infrastructure, transportation, manufacturing sectors
  • Analyze new potential market segments to develop the sales plan and ensure future growth with focus on Spain, Portugal, and Latin America
  • Permanently investigate the market and analyze trends to help the company in its competitive market strategy
  • Define and execute sales plans and maintain relevant information in CRM systems
  • Work in close cooperation with the product marketing team to provide up-to-date information from the market and support the development of new products
  • Work in close cooperation with the AEG PS Service team to ensure proper service support and customer satisfaction
  • Continuously investigate new solution concepts with distributors, end users, system integrators to increase the competitiveness of AEG PS in this market
  • Represent the company to the customer and act as a linking-pin between the customer and the relevant internal departments; participate in acceptance tests (FAT or SAT)
  • Collaborate with Field Application Engineering on the preparation of specific quotations and provide the required information for competitive solution offering
  • Collaborate with Service on preparation and promoting competitive service offering to support the sales growth of the compact UPS business
  • Work closely with other sales managers to support company activities in other projects
  • Represent the company in conferences, trade fairs, and customer events as well as in project reviews
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably supplementary studies in Sales Management
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the field of the UPS industry
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract law, specification of project orders
  • Knowledge in the field of contract negotiations
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English and ideally some knowledge of Portuguese
  • Computer literacy: MS Office Applications; CRM; ERP/SAP
