We are currently seeking a full-time Results-Oriented Sales Professional for Used Equipment and Major Parts to join our Red Deer Head Office location, reporting directly to our President & CEO. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to grow with the company and the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Focus on the sale of used equipment, as well as major parts sales;
• Inspect and document used equipment currently in inventory and new used equipment purchases as they come in;
• Update our used equipment webpage with relevant data and equipment in inventory, ensuring proper pricing, descriptions, and images;
• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers, building positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business;
• Make sales calls to new and existing clients, following up on sales activity;
• Contribute to sales products, promotions, and marketing collateral to maximize sales opportunities;
• Develop, execute, and follow through with the sales action plan and strategy created;
• Report on sales and quoting information, updates, progress;
• Gather competitive intelligence, and monitor competitors, market conditions, and industry product development;
• Maintain the CPS system;

• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales is required, with industry-related experience being an asset. A technical background in transmissions, power ends, generators, engines, and related components would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of initiative, strong analytical and decision-making skills, coupled with exceptional negotiation skills.

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Extensive knowledge of the Power Generation/Gas Compression/Oilfield industries and related equipment;
• Strong industry-specific technical knowledge;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight and international travel as required;
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
• Established customer service focus with experience in customer problem resolution;
• Strong work ethic, high sense of motivation, and goal-oriented mindset;
• Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
