Key Account Manager

The Private Sector is a key area of growth for Organon, with over 12 million people in Spain having private insurance and 441 private hospitals. The role of the Key Account Manager is to achieve annual sales objectives for assigned health private accounts by leveraging relationships to further penetrate existing accounts and prospect for new health private customers in the private market.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Achieving annual sales objectives for assigned health private accounts
- Building and applying understanding of health private customer organizations and networks to develop relationship maps
- Developing and maintaining strong, effective, and constructive relationships with external health private customers/partners
- Formulating comprehensive and insightful key account plans to build, manage, and improve trustful relationships with key stakeholders
- Identifying and ensuring sales opportunities through customer impacts on the key accounts
- Supporting and collaborating with other Business Units to gain product access in key private accounts
- Prioritizing and managing accounts by assessing appropriate business opportunities through contacts with key decision makers and important local players
- Making changes as needed based on new business opportunities and changes in the marketplace to achieve financial objectives
- Conducting competitive intelligence to analyze the environment, territory sales, and competitors
- Performing local marketing and sales analyses and gaining patient flow insights
- Tracking and communicating KPIs and performance metrics as defined in the account plan
- Developing relationships always under compliance
- Identifying and raising relevant issues and proposing potential solutions through appropriate internal and external channels
- Working effectively across the organization to advance opportunities
Requirements:
- University degree
- MBA/Postgraduate highly valuable
- 3 years in Marketing & Sales in Health/Pharmaceutical environment
- 2 years' experience in account management
