At Leica Biosystems, we're committed to advancing cancer diagnostics and improving lives. As a Sales Specialist Digital Pathology, you'll play a crucial role in driving the growth of our regional Digital Pathology business in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy to capture market share
  2. Collaborate with Account Managers to manage sales opportunities across the full funnel process
  3. Partner with the EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth
  4. Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to design and implement Digital Pathology solutions
  5. Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share
  6. Support the tender response team on technical application processes
  7. Communicate the value of Leica Biosystems' solutions to customers and represent our competitive advantages
  8. Apply data-driven insights to maximize results and optimizations
Requirements:
  1. University degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience
  2. Relevant experience in Health Care IT, including knowledge of LIS, HIS, PACS, and other hospital and laboratory IT systems
  3. Previous experience in a biomedical and sales-oriented environment, with a strong understanding of regulated sectors and procedures
  4. Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  5. Willingness to travel within the defined territory up to 60% of the time
