Position: Sales Specialist Digital PathologyThe Sales Specialist Digital Pathology will be responsible for developing the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business in Spain and Portugal, ensuring the implementation of the DP strategy, and leading the regional activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in Health Care IT and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy, focusing on market share capture and growth.
- Develop and deliver Digital Pathology projects that meet customer needs and expectations, working closely with the Account Manager team.
- Manage Digital Pathology sales opportunities in large and medium-sized competitive accounts across the full funnel process, from lead to implementation.
- Partner with the Account Managers, Regional Sales, and EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth.
- Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to design and implement the Digital Pathology solution.
- Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems' market share.
- Support the tender response team on technical application processes.
- Communicate the value proposition of Leica Biosystems' Digital Pathology solutions to customers and represent the company's winning characteristics.
- Support value selling and smart pricing models, applying DBS tools to maximize results and optimizations.
The ideal candidate will have a University degree in IT or Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent experience. Relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment, including knowledge of technologies, products, processes, and selling/purchasing with the hospital environment, competitor and market awareness, is essential. Experience in Imaging and Digital Pathology is an advantage.
