We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Despegar, a leading travel industry company. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales strategies, driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate agreements, contracts, and SLAs with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Business Development: Identify new revenue-generating opportunities and develop business cases to prioritize, driving innovation and growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular business updates, analysis, and insights to stakeholders, informing strategic decisions and driving business outcomes.
- Industry Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the travel industry, including wholesale, API/XML knowledge basics.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a business-to-business sales environment, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strong client relationships.
- Skillset: Strong commercial, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data and drive strategy, making informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
