Job Title: Senior Sales Executive - Global Forwarding

About the Role:

C.H. Robinson is a leading logistics platform seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Valencia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer interactions, including fostering relationships, making customer calls, and closing deals.
  • Use CRM to identify, call, and track prospects to gain core and strategic customer opportunities.
  • Visit customers and potential clients within assigned territory 3-to-4 days per week.
  • Effectively execute sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations.
  • Bring your own contribution to the regional team by consistently achieving new net revenue targets and sharing best practices.
  • Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationships and ensure ongoing success of accounts in collaboration with local assigned Account Executive/Account Manager.
  • Coordinate quotes with your Sales Coordinator (where applicable) and facilitate the transition of new customers to the local Account Executive/Account Manager.
  • Ability to build a winning deal team using the right internal resources; leading and collaborating with International Air, Ocean & Rail and account management teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Partner with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions based on the CHR platform to win business.
  • Manage conflict and navigate difficult conversations with customers or internal partners.
  • Build and deliver proposals, tailoring each presentation to the customer.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of operations experience from a freight forwarder.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in account management or sales.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, minimum 3-4 days per week.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a "hunter" mentality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
