About Ingersoll-Rand
Ingersoll-Rand is a global industrial equipment supplier, leading the compressed air industry with related technologies and services to diverse customers.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Area Manager to join our COMPAIR Compressors team in Spain. Your primary responsibility will be to develop long-term relationships with direct and indirect customers in País Vasco and Navarra, promoting our machinery sales and services.
As a key member of our team, you will provide knowledge and consultation on product-related solutions to customer problems, considering financial and efficiency-based factors.
Your Responsibilities
- Determine customer needs and create a business plan to identify mutual support requirements.
- Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, selecting project team members, and communicating next steps.
- Responsible for project take-off, pricing proposal, and sales strategy, integrating equipment, controls, and services.
- Assist customers in answering technical questions about our systems, products, and system application alternatives.
- Utilize our CRM as a business management, analysis, and tracking tool.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluency in English is required; other languages are an asset.
- Experience in the compressed air business, industrial refrigeration, or industrial supply sector is preferred.
What We Offer
We provide a permanent contract, full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM (flexible start/finish time) with reduced working hours in summer. Our benefits include life insurance, private health insurance, catering, unlimited LinkedIn learning, and a company car. You will also receive 10% of your salary in shares after one year of employment.
