About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Prospecting Coach to join our team at Qlik. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in helping our business development team maximize their performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process and provide guidance on sales strategies.
  • Design and implement a skills development initiative that addresses individual and team training needs, driving business growth and sales performance.
  • Act as a consultant to business development representatives, providing expert advice on prospecting techniques and sales strategies.
  • Develop educational material, including presentations, talk tracks, and case studies, to support training initiatives.
  • Design and deliver outbound demand plays that activate key business objectives and buying agendas in the market.
  • Gather feedback on training initiatives from trainees, managers, and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to provide feedback and guidance on performance.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance product knowledge, objection handling, and business value.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes to provide relevant and up-to-date prospecting advice.
Requirements
  • Work experience as a sales coach, sales trainer, or similar experience in a sales role responsible for generating new business.
  • Hands-on experience creating presentations (videos and slides).
  • Familiarity with role-playing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people and work across organizations.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • BSc degree in Education, Human Resources, or a relevant field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Inside Sales/Lead Development; preferably with technical or software companies that have a proven track record of facilitating sales and pipeline growth.
  • Experience with driving lead generation teams for tele-prospecting and qualification.
  • Experience selling into the Enterprise and SMB market segments with an understanding of vertical and functional business issues.
  • Track record of successfully creating alignment with sales and influencing across a matrix organization.
  • Proven ability to successfully effect organization change while keeping the team focused on results.
  • Proven experience of using coaching to improve team performance.
  • Business-level English mandatory.
  • Bachelor's equivalent mandatory.
