About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Talent & Careers department at IE University. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the careers of our students and alumni.

Key Responsibilities:

Career Coaching and Development (70%):

  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to prepare students for their careers, focusing on industry trends, corporate strategy, and recruitment expectations.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and advising to students, helping them to identify their strengths, develop their skills, and create effective job search strategies.
  • Collaborate with faculty and other departments to integrate career development into the academic curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to create career opportunities for our students.
  • Organize sector-specific events and training programs to support student career development.

Recruiter Relations and Business Development (30%):

  • Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to engage with employers and promote our students' skills and qualifications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key employers to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with faculty and other departments to develop and deliver career-focused events and programs.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the job market.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as HR or Business Administration.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in talent management, coaching, or HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze complex data and trends.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with advanced Spanish language skills a plus.
