About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic API Commercialization Manager to join our Digital Strategy and API acceleration team in Madrid, Spain.
The successful candidate will drive adoption and usage of Swift platform assets over API, including Community APIs, and develop joint value propositions with Complementors in the context of the Payments Experience Initiative.
This role involves handling technical conversations with technology, business, operations, and product teams, as well as supporting other stakeholders in discussions with business areas.
All this requires attention to detail and a high standard in terms of quality, along with an outside-in thinking mentality.
Responsibilities- Partner with key internal or external stakeholders in assigned products and services within the Portfolio of Swift.
- Closely collaborate with regional teams, focusing on key players to grow and enrich the ecosystem.
- Represent Swift and promote the company's portfolio through participation in meetings, workshops, business forums, and conferences.
- Provide regular market, client, and partner feedback to Product, Strategy, and commercial teams.
- Facilitate awareness, education, and equipment to BD teams, preparing collaterals and directly or indirectly engaging with clients and partners about capabilities, portfolio (including real use cases and stories), and explaining the value and how to embrace it.
- Define Community and Ancillary API adoption objectives and follow up with commercial and GTM teams.
Qualifications:
- Commercial skills are highly valued.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write compelling and concise PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent stakeholder management with influencing skills.
- Collaborative team worker, well-organized, able to work autonomously, and a growth mindset mentality.
- Transactional Business understanding and experience with Swift's products and services.
