We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in Tokyo headquarters. As an integral member of our HR department, you will play a key role in driving organizational success through expert HR guidance.
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your visionary thinking and operational expertise to transform business priorities into actionable initiatives that shape a thriving workplace culture. You will work closely with business leaders to advance the people and organizational agenda, navigating fast-paced and innovative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and the HR team to champion organizational and people-focused initiatives, spanning talent management, organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
- Provide impactful coaching to guide business leaders and senior managers, leveraging data-driven analysis to influence business partners with compelling recommendations.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to support business unit needs and contribute to global HR initiatives.
- Lead HR projects and key initiatives in collaboration with global and local HR teams, continuously enhancing communication practices and employee engagement programs.
- Analyze, design, and refine people programs, policies, and practices to cultivate positive employee relations.
Requirements:
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills to drive effective solutions.
- Leverage strategic planning and project management to navigate ambiguous situations and influence business leaders.
- Engage diverse stakeholders at all levels and locations with excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills that foster an inclusive environment.
- 3+ years of experience in employee/labor relations, or labor/employment law with a solid grasp of Japanese labor laws.
- Holds a university degree.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, Master degree is preferred.
- Project management and execution expertise.
- Demonstrated agility in thriving within fast-paced and innovative environments.
- Over 8 years of experience as an HR business partner/leader with diverse businesses.
- Proven track record in high-tech, entrepreneurial settings, requiring strong multitasking abilities.

Compensation Package:
